When I was a kid, this was my favorite food. When I was having an especially bad day, my mom would make this for me. Here is how I made it keto: For the bread I used Franz Keto Bread 2 slices keto bread
2 oz deli beef 2 tbsp butter 4-6 oz cheddar cheese 3-4 oz heavy whipping cream 1 oz water Salt & pepper to taste 1. Toast the bread in the toaster. 2. Add the butter and beef to a skillet. 3. Once the beef is slightly browned, add cheese and whipping cream. You can add more or less depending on the thickness of the sauce you preferred. 4. Add water if needs to be thinned out. 5. Add salt & pepper to taste. This was the right amount for 1 serving. Ladle 1/2 the amount on the first slice of toast, and the rest on top of the second slice. I added a fried egg for extra protein. Enjoy!
